Hatherleigh is a small but vibrant town in North Devon. The Market is central to the life of the town and has been held at least since the 14th century.

The statue of farmers and sheep at the entrance to the market encapsulates the ancient farming traditions in this area of Devon.

Just outside the town is Hatherleigh Moor, with Dartmoor as a backdrop. It's a great place to walk and take in some clean, fresh air.
